Bike Beans Cycle Cafe has been created by Jamie Chisholm, who describes himself as a ‘middle aged bloke, who’s still not grown out of bikes!’

Jamie, originally from north of the border, has lived in Ashtead for 10 years and is passionate about cycling, food and hospitality and has had a burning desire to create this sort of concept for many years. Having had 20 years in the commercial world,it was time to stop talking about the dream and deliver the dream and try to create something innovative, bold, inspiring, fun, relevant, inclusive and informal which harnesses the great social aspect that cycling and the cafe culture engender.

Jamie’s ultimate aim is that the cafe becomes a social hub with a strong cycling relevance. To support this aim there will be many initiatives launching over time to encourage and support more people onto their bikes, whoever they  are. In particular women, children and lapsed riders.

Jamie believes this exciting new concept will only succeed if people feel a part of it and it is an enhancer to current routine/lifestyle.To that end customer feedback and understanding needs is vital to the many directions Bike Beans can go!

Where will Bike Beans take you?
