The Cafe is closely partnered with WeFixAnyBike, run by Jon Budd and offers a very professional and good value service and repair facility. Generally we can turn bikes around in 5 working days and there is no need to book your bike in – just bring it to the Cafe and we'll do the rest. Jon is always happy to talk through every customer's bike needs and agree a plan. A very gifted and personable mechanic! Read more

Coffee is the 'jewel in the crown' of any Cycle Cafe, therefore we take our coffee very seriously. Our blended bean has gained a fantastic reputation, since we launched it in 2012, with many of our customers calling it the best coffee they’ve ever had. Any keen cyclist knows that coffee has an integral part in cycling culture. Whether it’s a pre-ride espresso or a cafe stop latte, coffee and cycling go hand in hand. Our ‘Ire Mocha Italia’ beans are full bodied with notes of dark berries and chocolate; a 4 out of 5 for strength with a sweetness of molasses taking out any bitterness.

Food – 'Fuelling the revolution!'

Our menu sticks to our original principles of 'simple done well' and 'healthy indulgent'. The core of our menu focuses on providing cyclists with the energy they need pre-, during or post-ride. So we focus on popular items such as pasta, eggs with smoked salmon, paninis, porridge and more! Our locally loved homemade cake and soup has been supplied by cafe-friend Gill from day 1, who runs 'The Meadow Kitchen' from her home in the village. We always do our best to offer alternatives for those with food allergies and always have a good range of gluten free options. Most of everything we do is sourced locally or prepared in our kitchen by the team.

Cold drinks

Our chiller is always full of many of the popular cold drinks you'd expect, soft drinks, juices, smoothies, children's cartons, energy drinks and bottled waters. Everything you need to keep you going on a long ride or to chill out afterwards. Beyond this we have developed some of our own delicious cafe-made cold drinks which include milkshakes, iced frappes and our stunning protein recovery drinks in a range of flavours.

We have two TV screens which show all the live cycle racing along with other major sporting events. We also show DVD’s of exciting mountain bike movies. Our Wi-Fi is powered by The Cloud and if you still need something to enjoy while you relax in the cafe, choose from our range of magazines and books or chat with fellow keen cyclists.

The deck is perfectly situated at the front of the cafe and is the perfect place to sit and enjoy the sun and the ideal place to lock up your pride and enjoy.

Events & Courses

Cycling and coffee are our passions and where better to make the most of both than in the cafe. If you’ve got a birthday party that needs planning, a team meeting or a coaching course Bike Beans is the perfect host. We also run regular group rides, training camps abroad and local community events. Just give us a call and we’ll make the event one to remember.
